The printmaking program at the Wagon Box Site has been rescheduled from Sunday, June 22, when it was canceled due to inclement weather, to this Saturday, June 28, at 10 a.m.
Participants can learn about native and non-native grasses at the Wagon Box Site, while making a cyanotype print to take home.
A cyanotype print is make by placing objects, in this case grasses and wildflowers, on light sensitive paper. The paper is exposed to sunlight, and the plants image is reproduced on the paper.
The program will be presented by Absaroka District Interpretive Ranger Mary Negri. There is a $10 suggested donation for the program. Email mary.negri@wyo.gov to register.
