July 2, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a Resolution authorizing the submission of an application for federal funding through the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) administered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation for the purpose of the Big Horn Transportation Alternatives study and plan project.

County Engineer Ken Muller gave more details on the application and it’s purpose for the county.

Muller said if the county is successful in getting the nearly $150,000 in federal funding, the county will need to contribute the local matching funds, about 9.5% or roughly $14,000.

The commission approved Muller to submit the application.
