Sheridan Man Arraigned on Felony Theft Charge

A trial date was recently set in Fourth Judicial District Court for a Sheridan man charged with felony theft. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Sheridan Man Arraigned on Felony Theft Charge

On May 14, 2025, Sheridan Police were contacted by the manager of the Good 2 Go gas station and convenience store about an employee that had admitted to not making a deposit of $2,072.96  on April 20 and keeping the money for themselves. That employee, 45-year-old Robert Weber was arrested and charged for the alleged crime. Weber, at a recent arraignment hearing in District Court, pleaded not guilty to one count of felony theft.

District Court Judge Darci Phillips scheduled a two-day jury trial to begin on Monday, December 8. A pretrial conference will take place on Thursday, November 6 at 9 am. Weber’s bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court. The crime of felony theft is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
