In a release issued Tuesday, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) gave the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street Project as of July 15.
On South Main Street from the Bypass Road to Interstate 25, Croell is expected to begin paving the wear course in this section on Thursday, July 17.
Tabs will be placed in preparation for striping.
On South Main Street from Angus to Brock, paving of the wear course is scheduled to resume at the end of this week, weather permitting.
Downtown Main Street from Fort Street to Angus Street, work on the wearing course is complete. Traffic tabs are in place in preparation for striping.
Parking is available throughout the downtown area.
On North Main Street from Fort Street to Foote Street, the contractor will be connecting the final service lines this week and will begin back-filling at these locations.
From Hart Street north to the Interstate 90 interchange, WYDOT will be striping this week.
Motorists should watch for traffic control, wet paint, and expect short delays.
