Create nativescapes at home

Sheridan Community Land Trust is inviting the public to a  Discovery Session that will teach you to create native Wyoming landscapes around your home. 

The Discovery Session: Nativescapes for Your Home, will instruct attendees on techniques to transform their yard or garden using native plants and flowers that thrive in the Cowboy State’s unique landscape.

According to SCLT, experts from Piney Island Native Plants and Piney Island Conservation Services will share tips and practical guidance on designing and maintaining a beautiful, low-maintenance yard that supports local wildlife and conserves water.

This unique Discovery Session begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 24, and will run for approximately an hour and a half in the SCLT Community Rooms, located at 14 Lane Ln. in Sheridan.

This SCLT Discovery Session is free and open to everyone.
