Johnson County’s Commissioners voted to pass separate Mill Levies as part of passing their 2025-26 regular budget.
Mills were passed for the Johnson County Fire District #1, Powder River Fire District, Johnson County Weed & Pest, Johnson County Weed & Pest, Leafy Spurge Account, the County Cemetery District, the Johnson County Hospital District, the County Rural Health Care District, the Powder River Conservation District, the Clear Creek Conservation District, the Johnson County Solid Waste District, and the Johnson County Senior Service District.
The commission voted to approve and accept Resolution No. 750.
Mills and values for the separate districts:
The commission passed a levy of 1.32 mills for Johnson County Fire District #1 in the amount of nearly $320,000.
Powder River Fire District, a levy of 2.9 mills for just under $360,000.
Johnson County Weed & Pest, a levy of 1 mill for nearly $424,000.
Johnson County Weed & Pest, Leafy Spurge, a levy of 0.752 mills for just under $319,000.
County Cemetery District, a levy of 0.969 mills for just over $410,000.
Johnson County Hospital District, a levy of 3 mills for $1.27 million.
Rural Health Care District, a levy of 2 mills for $just over $847,000.
Powder River Conservation District, a levy of I mill for just under $127,000.
Clear Creek Conservation District, a levy of 0.673 mills for just over $200,000.
Johnson County Solid Waste District, a levy of 0.974 mills for just under $411,000.
And the County Senior Service District, a levy of 1 mill for nearly $424,000.
