August 11, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) issued the latest update on the Buffalo Main Street project for the week of August 11.

On the Clear Creek Bridge downtown, the epoxy overlay is scheduled for Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12, weather and schedule permitting.

Motorists can expect lane closures over the bridge.

West Fetterman Street and the parking area in front of the Busy Bee and Occidental will be closed while work is done on the west side of the bridge.

On North Main from Fort Street to Hart Street, utility upgrades are “coming along nicely.”

The hope is to have this portion completed withing the next few weeks, and be able to pave by mid-month.

Pedestrians are asked to utilize sidewalks with caution.

WYDOT reminds the public that sidewalks are closed to bicyclists and electric-bicyclists.
