During his recent report to the Buffalo City Council, Police Chief Sean Bissett said a stolen tractor-trailer had been located and the subject taken into custody by a number of law enforcement agencies, including the BPD.
He gave details on the incident.
He also reported that the events that happened during Longmire Days and the County Fair & Rodeo went relatively smoothly.
He said the department had a very busy month of July, with over 3,300 calls to the dispatch center, with 827 incidents responded to by police officers, resulting in 10 arrests.
Of those arrests there were four that were domestic incidents that involved weapons.
