From Corks to Cuisine: Uncorked expands the menu

Downtown Sheridan Association Executive Director Zoila Perry and Vice President and Wine Festival Co-Chair Lindsey Vredenburg appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to invite the community to save the date for the Sheridan Uncorked Wine Festival.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 13, on Grinnell Plaza in Sheridan, with a special VIP Champagne Hour on Verdello’s back patio from 5–6 p.m.

In past years, the festival catered to wine and spirits enthusiasts, pairing tastings with a variety of finger foods. According to Vredenburg, this year’s event will also appeal to food lovers.

Funds raised during Sheridan Uncorked allow the DSA to sponsor events such as the 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Sheridan in Bloom.

The DSA uses events like these to build community connections and create spaces for people to gather and celebrate life in Sheridan. All proceeds from Uncorked benefit the association’s ongoing efforts to revitalize and preserve historic downtown Sheridan.

The annual Sheridan Uncorked Wine Festival also provides essential funding for downtown development projects.
