Police Pursuit Vehicle Purchase Discussed at Study Session

The purchase of three 2026 All-Wheel Drive Dodge Durango Police Pursuit Vehicles was an item of discussion at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council study session. City Fleet and Administrative Coordinator Heather Czaplinski says that staff is recommending the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger approve the purchase of the vehicles from Fremont Motor Company out of Lander in the amount of $121,251.

Czaplinksi said that the three new Durangos will replace three pursuit vehicles that have been decommissioned by the Police Department due to major issues and that the older vehicles will be surplused. The City Council is expected to consider the purchase at their next regular business meeting Monday, August 18.
