On Saturday, August 16 at 7 p.m. there will be a Lake Party Fundraiser at Lake DeSmet for the St. Francis Animal Shelter in Buffalo. A donation of $20 is requested, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Shelter.
The Shelter’s mission is to help end the euthanasia of companion animals and provide care for the animals until they can be adopted to qualified homes. They also offer low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, spaying and neutering. They also participate in the Trap-Neuter-Return program to help decrease the feral cat population.
The event will be held on 139 Monument Road, take exit 53 off I-90. There will be music by Cruisin’ on the R3 Sound Stage, and a NY style hot dog cart as well as spaghetti with clam sauce.
