Story Day Committee Chair Mark Caudle appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to invite the public to the 2025 Story Days celebration.
The annual event, which highlights the strong, independent spirit of the town of Story and its residents, will be held Aug. 22–24. The parade is set for 10 a.m. Aug. 23.

With 40 vendors scheduled to attend, Caudle said there will be plenty to see and purchase. Festivities begin Friday when the Lions Club starts raffle ticket sales at 2 p.m. at the Story Store. At 4 p.m., the Story Burgers and Hot Dogs event begins at the Story Store, while the Woman’s Club will host its silent auction with pie and ice cream. Evening entertainment kicks off at 7 p.m. with live music by the Alley Kats until 11 p.m.
Caudle added that live music will be featured throughout the weekend.
