Sheriff’s Office Asking Residents to Sign Up for New My Alerts System

August 29, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez and Undersheriff Lt. Doug Sanders are encouraging the public to download a new app designed to keep residents informed of emergency situations.

The county has replaced the older CodeRED system with AlertSense, branded as My Alerts in the app. The service is managed through the local dispatch center, which officials said ensures timely delivery of emergency notifications to residents.

Sheridan County’s signup page, operated through AlertSense, allows residents to register for alerts via text, email, voicemail, or pager. Preferences can be customized for specific alert types and geographic areas.
