The first community lunch of the year at Arvada-Clearmont School was held on Wednesday, September 3, and was hosted by House KOA. The lunch was well attended by parents and community members.
A-C fifth grade math teacher Jonathan Broersma was one of the teachers who helped to start the house system in Clearmont. He felt the first lunch went well.
This first lunch was the takeover by Cub House KOA. They gave a short presentation about House KOA.

The leaders of the three houses which are sister houses of KOA gave a short presentation about each House.

Skye Malli, House Beowulf; Natalie Stoll, House Herculean, and Bronc Vineyard, House Fiducia.
Deborah Guyer, A/C Board member, attended the lunch.
The next community lunch will be held on October 1, brought to you by House Herculean. All community members are invited, but those wanting to attend should call the school a week in advance to allow them to order sufficient food.
