Sheridan College will kick off their Fall 2025 visual and performing arts schedule with an upcoming performance by Opera Wyoming, the first and only state opera company in Wyoming. The concert will take place Friday, September 12, at 7:00 pm in Kinnison Hall, located within the Whitney Center for the Arts on the Sheridan College campus.
According to information from Sheridan College, audiences can look forward to a vibrant and varied program featuring beloved operatic arias, selections from the “Golden Age of Broadway,” and timeless gems from the “Great American Songbook.” The performance will also highlight local talent and community favorites—bringing familiar faces and voices to the stage alongside Opera Wyoming’s ensemble.
Established in 2018 by Emily and Daniel Quintana from Rock Springs, Opera Wyoming made its state debut with performances in Casper and was formally designated Wyoming’s state opera company in January 2020. Since its founding, the company has brought high-quality vocal performances to communities across the state, and cultivated a growing appreciation for operatic arts in Wyoming.
