Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett told the city council the investigation into the vehicle break-ins that happened in north Buffalo a few weeks ago is still ongoing, with several law enforcement agencies in the state working together with the BPD to bring those responsible to justice.
Bissett reported that in August the dispatch center had 3,249 calls, with 767 incidents that officers responded to, resulting in eight arrests.
He said his department is gearing up for the Right Road program, which he explained.
He wanted to remind the public not to worry, as the PD is there for a reason and it is a staged event.
