The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center discussed with CEO Luke Senden, the new employees that had been hired and those they are still seeking to fill open positions.
Senden talked about Dr. Regg Hagge.
Senden also said the JCHC has hired a new Operating Room (OR) Manager.
He has extensive experience in the OR and will be a good fit for the facility, he said.
Although he didn’t giver his name, Senden said he will be starting September 22.
The JCHC is still looking for a nurse practitioner/physicians’ assistant for the walk-in clinic to help with staffing there.
He said the facility is having to use the clinic and hospital’s doctors to fill open shifts in the walk-in clinic which is meaning longer wait times for patients to get appointments.
Interviews have been scheduled or are coming for the position, according to Senden.
