Sheridan College Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts and Gallery Director of the Edward A. Whitney Gallery Brittney Denham made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce the artist talk and opening reception of David Morrison’s Remnants of Future Landscapes.
According to Dunham, the Whitney Gallery at Sheridan College will exhibit the works of Morrison’s ever expanding curiosity and works that encompass various mediums and materials.

Fresh from an artist residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vt., Morrison is a mixed media artist in his third year of the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Oklahoma. His work uses ceramics and found materials to explore themes of human impact on the environment.
The Edward A. Whitney Gallery will host a free artist talk and opening reception with Morrison at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.
