Chamber Celebrates Opening of Whitney Commons East Park Playground

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of the new Whitney Commons East Park Playground with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025. The new 9,700 square foot playground features two sections, one geared toward 0 to 5-year-olds, and another to 7 to 12-year-olds. The complex also includes picnic benches and four pieces of workout equipment — a recumbent cycle, walker, leg press and chest press — to accommodate an older audience.
