Auditions for Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight and tomorrow

Auditions for the Trident and WYO Theaters’ annual production of the Rocky Horror Picture will be held Sept. 22 and 23. 

A cinematic spoof of the sci/fi horror movies from the days of the silver screen, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a musical rip of the B-movie genre that became a cult classic.

Auditions to be a member of the cast will be held in the Mars Black Box Theater at the WYO from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23. Those auditioning do not need to attend both nights, but are welcome to do so, and according to director Aaron Odom gives performers one more opportunity to be seen. 

WYO Performing Arts and Education Center Executive Director Erin Butler said the one time performance gives the cast a rare opportunity to be someone different or maybe even more themselves.
