Additional Flights to be Added For Thanksgiving Holiday

The Sheridan-Johnson Critical Air Service Team, (CAST) is pleased to announce that SkyWest will be providing an additional roundtrip flight to Denver during the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The holiday extra flight will leave Denver at 8:15, and arrive in Sheridan at 9:42 a.m. It will leave Sheridan at 10:20 and arrive in Denver at 12:06 p.m. This is in addition to the early morning round-trip flight, the mid-afternoon round trip flight, and the late-night flight in from Denver. SkyWest believes, as does CAST, that there is a demand for the extra flights to serve the Sheridan-Johnson County area.

Airport manager Robert Gill explained about the air service for Sheridan, and the additional flight.

Although in past years, keeping reliable airline service coming into Sheridan has been a challenge, Gill added that during the last four years, the airport has been breaking records for enplanement.

The plane that flies in and out of Sheridan is a CRJ 200, with seating for 50 passengers. With the increase of air traffic in and out of Sheridan, parking at the airport can be a problem, Gill said.

Those wishing to book a flight out of Sheridan can go to www.united.com or to your local travel agents.
