Jo Co Commission Sets BOE Hearing for This Week

Johnson County’s Commissioners have set the date for them to sit as the Board of Equalization (BOE) as Wednesday, October 1 at 9am.

The meeting will allow taxpayers the opportunity to protest the decisions of the BOE.

Commissioner Steve Kozisek also gave an update on the Semiquincentennial Committee.

Kozisek said the committee has chosen to move forward with that project instead of the proposed dog park.

He added that a planned drone show for the celebration next summer looks like it may not happen.
