Johnson County Commission Chair Bill Novotny is inviting residents and visitors to experience the fall colors along Crazy Woman Canyon.
Earlier this summer, Novotny appeared on Public Pulse to announce the seasonal closure of Crazy Woman Canyon Road while crews replaced two aging bridges. That work has been completed just in time for visitors to enjoy the change of leaves.

Crazy Woman Canyon (Forest System Road 33) in the Bighorn National Forest reopened a few weeks ago. The Forest Service urges caution as the road remains narrow and best traveled at low speeds. There are some locations that are only one-lane wide, please anticipate other drivers and proceed with caution.
The bridge replacement project was done in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration and Johnson County. As part of the project, Johnson County also replaced a bridge off-forest along the same route.
