The WYO Premiere offers more in less time

In 2023, the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center replaced the yearly Gala with the Premiere.

WYO Executive Director Erin Butler said the change has been well received. Although many of the auctions were left behind, the Premiere Night adds a little more fun to the fundraiser.

Butler said the focus of the Premiere is much more about the production and the evening is much shorter making the event more accessible and enjoyable for not only the performers but many of the WYO Theater’s supporters who look forward to the event each year.

This year the Premiere announced that Hello, Dolly! will be the performance on Saturday, Oct. 18, in Sheridan. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the curtain at 7 p.m.
