Sheridan Commission to Consider Rescission of Fire Restrictions

Sheridan County’s Commissioners will consider the rescission of partial fire restrictions in the county during their regular meeting Tuesday.

The commission enacted the partial restrictions that went into effect on July 8,  due to county-wide dry conditions.

The commission will also consider an Agreement for Professional Services between the county and WWC Engineering on the Tongue River Channel Stabilization project in the Kleenburn Recreation Area; a setback variance on Creekside Operation; an update on county personnel policy and an updated Pension Agreement concerning the Wyoming Retirement System Pension Plan; and consider a hangar lease at the county airport.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.

The meeting is open to the public.
