The Hub on Smith board of directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dustin Stephens as its new Executive Director, effective November 3, 2025.
Dustin Stephens has served the Sheridan community since 2019, most recently with Volunteers of America Northern Rockies as Director of Mission, where he helped implement mission and program initiatives across Wyoming, Montana, and western South Dakota. An 82nd Airborne Division veteran, Dustin brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience and a proven track record in culture building, program development, and community partnerships.
As Executive Director, Dustin is committed to advancing The Hub’s mission “to celebrate, embrace, and serve older adults for the betterment of our community.” He looks forward to partnering with staff, volunteers, donors, and local organizations to ensure older adults in Sheridan County are supported, strengthened, and engaged.
“Dustin has dedicated his entire life to serving others,” says Bryn Stewart, Board President of The Hub on Smith. “He recognizes that to be effective in his role, he must lead from the front, be forward-thinking, and stay true to The Hub’s mission.”
During the hiring process, Dustin shared his vision for The Hub, “I want every person we serve to know that The Hub on Smith will always be a place where they are seen, heard, and valued.”
Dustin and his wife are raising their four children in Sheridan and are grateful to call this community home.
