On Halloween, Oct. 31, the Clearmont Recreation District will host their annual ‘Trunk or Treat,’ for trick or treating in Clearmont.
People wishing have treats for the youngsters are asked to have their vehicles at the Rec District parking lot anytime after 5 p,m., and be ready for trick or treaters by 6. Decorating the vehicles is encouraged to add to the Halloween fun.
There will also be a jack-o-lantern carving contest, and these should be at the center before 6:30, so the Clearmont Women’s Club can judge the entries by 7.
Chili and cinnamon rolls will be available for $5, served after 5:30.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held in the gym.
Youngsters can also participate in ‘Treat Street’. The Clearmont Town Hall and the Clearmont Historical Center will be open with treats for the small ghouls and ghosts.
