Sheridan city and county officials recently had a meeting to discuss a number of issues important to both governmental entities to find ways to address some problems.
County Commissioner Lonnie Wright attended the meeting, and explains county islands within the city limits, and the problems they create.
Wright also talks about the issue concerning gambling <a href=”/audio/2025/10-30-42.mp3″> establishments. </a>
A number of topics weren’t covered in the meeting, such as SAWS, public restrooms, and annexation and the subdivision process.
Wright said they would touch on those, and a few new items, at the next meeting between the city and county.
