Sheridan College Director of Bands and Jazz Studies Dr. Eric Richards is urging music lovers to reserve their seats for the Sheridan College Holiday Swing.
Richards made an appearance on Public Pulse to talk about Sheridan College’s gift to the community, Holiday Swing 2025.
The program will feature music from some of the best talent Sheridan has to offer, with special guest performances, the Sheridan College Symphony Band, the Jazz Ensemble and more to ignite the holiday spirit. This year will also feature a holiday collaboration with the Sheridan County Youth Choir.

Guest vocalist Marie Smith, violin soloist Alison Dooley and Ivy Dillon from the Sheridan College Music Program will also perform. Richards said due to the overwhelming response to the holiday program, the college presents two scheduled performances. Holiday Swing will begin at 7 p.m. Friday Dec. 5, and 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts.
According to Richards, Holiday Swing fills Kinnison Hall every year, so he is urging those who wish to be a part of the performance to reserve seats quickly. Reserve your seats by clicking here.
In collaboration with The Food Group of Sheridan, non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be gratefully accepted at the door to help those in need in Sheridan County.
