Annual Santa Fly-In to be Held Dec. 6

November 18, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

Get ready to see Santa fly into Sheridan on an airplane at the Fourth Annual Santa Fly-In, to be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Sheridan County Airport Terminal.

At last year’s event, Santa said his reindeer were resting up for Christmas Eve, so he took a break as well and let an experienced pilot fly him into Sheridan instead of bringing his sleigh and reindeer.

Justin Heid, President of Sheridan Pilots Association, talks about this year’s upcoming event.

Youngsters can talk to Santa and give him their Christmas ‘Wish List’. Activities include complimentary colored pencils and crayons with pictures to color, and stationary will be provided for those kids who want to write Santa a letter, with guaranteed air-mail delivery.

Attendees are asked to park in the airport’s long-term parking lot and walk to the main terminal to watch Santa come in.
