News – Sheridan Media

Earlier this fall, the Sheridan-Johnson Critical Air Service Team, (CAST) announced that SkyWest will be providing an additional roundtrip flight to Denver during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
On November 19, airport manager Robert Gill gave an update on the additional Thanksgiving flights.
He also talked about how Sheridan had been impacted by the government shutdown that was resolved on November 12.
Even with the drop in bookings during the shutdown, Gill said the load factor during the Thanksgiving week remains fairly consistent with the usual trends.

The plane that flies in and out of Sheridan is a CRJ 200, with seating for 50 passengers. Gill mentioned some of the advantages of flying out of the Sheridan airport.
Those wishing to book a flight out of Sheridan can go to United.com, or to your local travel agents. SkyWest believes, as does CAST, that there is a demand for the extra flights to serve the Sheridan-Johnson County area.
