Museum at the Bighorns Invites Public to Take a Look During Stroll

Museum at the Bighorns Director Carrie Edinger and Operations Manager Chip King are inviting residents to stop into the museum during the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce Christmas Stroll. 

Major strides have recently been made at the new location of the Museum at the Bighorns. King reported that the museum’s new lights are going in and will light the area during the Stroll. Edinger and King said it’s been a long process but hardwood floors have been installed and the walls have been painted. 

Christmas strollers can visit the Museum at the Bighorns during Christmas Stroll, beginning at 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, and get a first look at the museum’s future. 

Edinger is inviting the community to explore the exhibit designers’ renderings of the museum space and see how support from the community is taking shape and what remains on the horizon.

The museum is inviting everyone to join the effort to reach a $50,000 donation match by making a contribution and receiving donation level merchandise bearing the new “History Bucks!” logo.
