The City of Buffalo will have a Public Hearing on the city’s proposed application for Wyoming State Revolving Fund loans for water and wastewater projects in the city.
City Works Director Kevin Silbernagel gave more details to the city council during a recent meeting.
The amount the city will seek in the loan for the filtration system at the water treatment plant will be just over $2.8 million from the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund.
For the Burritt Avenue project, the city will seek roughly $2.8 million from the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund for the water main, and about $2.9 million from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund for the wastewater main.
The Wyoming State Revolving Funds Program consists of two separate loan funds that assist public entities with funding for water or wastewater infrastructure improvement projects.
