The final plat for the Elmwood Estates located on the 900 block of East 5th Street in Sheridan was an item presented to the Sheridan City Council at Monday’s study session. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said the property owner, Khanstruction, LLC, has submitted a final plat application proposing to subdivide 31.85 acres of unplatted land into four mixed-use lots.
Schroeder said the City’s Future Land Use Map from 2017 indicates that this area is appropriate for residential use and the proposed development of the area includes multi-family residential, which is consistent with the future vision for the area. The City Council is expected to consider the resolution for approval of the final plat at their next regularly scheduled business meeting on Monday, December 1.
