The Salvation Army and the Genesis Foundation are inviting families to take a break from holiday shopping and attend the third annual Free Christmas Movie Triple Feature.
As Salvation Army volunteers ring silver bells and generous donors fill the red kettles, families will be downtown purchasing presents for the season. Envoy In-Charge of The Salvation Army Sheridan Corps, Gary Dobney, is inviting the community to kick back and relax on the Saturday after Black Friday and the Christmas Stroll to enjoy three classic Christmas movies at the WYO Theater.

Many residents have seen these movies before, but perhaps not on the big screen in a historic setting like the WYO. Dobney hopes to not only give parents a bit of respite after shopping, but also create new memories as families watch classic movies together while enjoying free popcorn.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, and free and open to all, Dobney said the event offers The Salvation Army a way to show its gratitude for the generosity of the community that supports efforts to help those who need it most.
