Sheridan Community Land Trust is alerting the community that AARP’s national series “Great Places to Live” has highlighted Sheridan in a new episode that focuses on the community’s livability for residents age 50 and older.

The episode, titled Small Town Cool in the Bighorn Mountains, features SCLT’s Soldier Ridge Trail and spotlights local partners including The Brinton Museum, Rooted in Wyoming and The Hub on Smith.

According to AARP host Patty Kim, Sheridan scored high in AARP’s Livability Index for clean air, clean water and access to outdoor recreation. The episode includes interviews with longtime SCLT volunteer Steve Stresky, who leads Discovery Sessions and geology hikes on local trails.
