One Shopping Day Left at the Playhouse in Buffalo

Merilee Albers, owner of Vintiques of Clearmont, Wyoming, and coordinator of vendors at the Playhouse in downtown Buffalo, announced that there is only one more day that The Playhouse will be open before Christmas. It will be open on December 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. David and Jackie Stewart of Buffalo own the building, which was at one time the Bison Movie Theater at 7 North Main.

At the November 22 market, Albers talked about what would be at the Playhouse on December 13. Albers talked about the market.

She added about what would be available at the December 13 event.

Everything in the market is local, Albers said, and several of the vendors were on hand at the November 22 market to talk about what they offer.

David Paden and his daughter Dama were two of the vendors.

Bonnie Reimers of Reimersville farms out of Banner was another vendor at the Nov. 22 event.

Rachel and Steve Miller, of Cookies and Kisses Bakery in Buffalo, were on hand selling cookies, cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.

Rachel Miller said this is her second year at the Playhouse Market. She has owned a bakery for almost 15 years, and this year she re-branded, changing from mostly cakes to cookies and other treats. “We will be opening commercially here downtown in January.”

Patti Peacock of The Patti Shack, specializes in handmade gifts and creations.

On December 13, from 10 to 4, there will several local vendors with antiques, soaps, candles, salsa and much more. There are also a bar and concessions as well as live music.
