Sheridan Commission to Consider Resolution for Senior Citizen District

Coming at their regular meeting Tuesday, Sheridan County’s Commissioners will consider a Resolution favoring the establishment of a County Senior Citizen Service District and submitting a ballot proposition for its formation to the county clerk.

Also on the Agenda is consideration of the county Holiday courthouse closure schedule; the airport manager’s recommendation for proposals received for the lease of a hangar; Budget Amendment #1 for Fiscal Year 2026; a Cooperative Agreement for a Sub-Award of the 2025 Western States Wildland Urban Interface Grant between the county and the State Office of Lands & Investments, Forestry Division; the Clearwater Land & Minerals Rezone; the Big Horn Recreation Center CUP; and a request for a temporary permit for the Unified Taylor Quarry.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
