The Fourth Annual Santa Fly-In was held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Sheridan County Airport Terminal.
Justin Heid, President of Sheridan Pilots Association, talked about this year’s event.

Youngsters lined up to talk to Santa and give him their Christmas ‘Wish List’. For those waiting in line, there were complimentary colored pencils and crayons available with pictures to color, and stationary was provided for those kids who want to write Santa a letter, with guaranteed air mail delivery.
Santa talked about his flight this year.

Jeff Baum, vice president of Sheridan Pilots Association, was Santa’s pilot this year. He talked about what an honor it was to fly Santa into Sheridan.
Baum been flying helicopters about two years, but he’s been flying planes for over 50 years. Small groups of youngsters were also invited to come and sit in the helicopter and learn a little about it.

Daisy Sampson and her youngsters were some of the community members who were waiting to talk to Santa.
Holly Janicke said that this was the first year that her family has attended the Santa Fly-in.

A large crowd came to the airport to see Santa come to Sheridan via helicopter. It is an exciting and unique way for Santa to come into town.
