JCSD1 Board to Elect Officers During Monday Meeting

The Johnson County School Board will have their regular meeting for December Monday night at the district offices in Buffalo.

The board is scheduled to elect officers for the coming year, designate their official depositories, and adopt their meeting schedule for 2026.

In addition, they will hear their regular reports from administration, staff, and the operations team.

The board will continue discussing restructuring, to shrink the number of trustees from nine to seven.

They will consider setting aside an hour of time during their next work session in January of 2026 to collect public input.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Monday evening in the district offices located at 601 W. Lott Street in Buffalo.

The public is welcome to attend.
