A number of updates to the City of Sheridan employee handbook were discussed at Monday night’s City Council study session. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
City Human Resources Director Heather Doke presented the updates to the Council and Mayor Rich Bridger. Doke highlights the most significant change to the handbook.
The other two updates to the employee handbook are updating the dates throughout the handbook and clarifying that if employees do not call in for three consecutive days, the City will consider that they have resigned rather than that the City has terminated them. The updates will be considered by the City Council at their next business meeting.
