The Sheridan Recreation District will be hosting the Semi-regional tournament with teams from Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming Dec. 13–14.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Recreation District Director Alex Mock said 39 teams of 5th–6th grade girls; and 5th–8th grade boys will be playing in the tournament. Mock estimates that over 400 players, families and coaches will be coming into Sheridan for the weekend.

The economic impact of the tournament is estimated to be more than $300,000 spent at local restaurants, shops, lodging and other businesses.
The Recreation District is inviting the Sheridan residents to come watch the action. The admission fee covers the cost of the tournament. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors each day of attendance. Games begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14. Saturday will feature games until 9 p.m. and Sunday will conclude by 1 p.m.
