Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Luke Senden recently reported to the hospital board that the facility is in discussions to possibly become part of the Rural Training Program for providers.

He explained further.

According to uwfmrpcasper.com, the University of Wyoming’s Family Medicine Residency Program at Casper currently has the state’s only Rural Training Track in Thermopolis, which they call an innovative program, separate from the Casper residency, located in a rural/frontier environment set to immerse and train residents in a full spectrum family medicine experience.
