Beginning on Jan 13 and running through May 12, the Clear Creek Recreation District in Clearmont will be offering Coding and Robotics classes for grades 5-12.

Students learn about Micro bits and use them to build battle bots, video games and more.

The classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 4 to 6 p.m. The activity bus will be available for those wanting a ride to and from the classes, and home-school students are welcome to join.

Materials are provided by the University of Wyoming and Sheridan College. Students will be able to use their school provided Chromebook. All programming is done with the free website makecode.microbit.com.

Those wanting to take part in the class are asked to register so that the Recreation District will know how many supplies will be needed. Registration forms can be dropped off at the Rec Center or to Mr. Rowe at the school.
