Sheridan County’s Commissioners discussed the appointment of one person to the County Historic Preservation Commission.
Up for the appointment to one open seat were Ronnie LeBlanc and Todd Wold.
Commissioner Holly Jennings made a motion to appoint LeBlanc, which was seconded by Commissioner Mike Arzy.
During the discussion period, Commissioner Nick Siddle said either candidate would be a good fit for the position, which was the opinion of the rest of the commission as well.
The commission appointed LeBlanc on a split vote, with Commissioners Siddle and Wright voting against.
LeBlanc will serve the remainder of an unexpired term through June 30, 2028.
