The Clearmont Historical Center will hold their annual quilt show through the month of March, which is National Quilting Month. They are accepting quilts for display now.

She added that the museum had received two new donations that she planned to use as a part of the quilt display this year. One was an old wagon wheel or stagecoach wheel.

People can fill out comment cards with their impressions of each quilt. Hirz said that she had some comments from people attending the shows in the past, and they wanted more choices and more categories to comment on the quilts. This year there will be more choices with several new categories as well as a couple previous ones.
Quilts are being accepted now, and the deadline is February 25, so that they may arrange the quilts in the best possible manner. Hirz added that they encourage quilters of all skill levels to participate in the show.
Some quilts have already started to arrive. Center volunteer Fran Felz about the first quilt for the show.

Hirz said they are also accepting help from anyone wishing to volunteer with the quilt display.

During the show the Center will be open from 10-3 every day. It is currently open from 10-3 Friday and Saturday. Anyone wishing to bring quilts can contact Hirz at the Center at 307-758-4685, or email clearmonthistory@gmail.com
