Johnson County Planner Jim Waller gave an update on the subdivisions and number of properties and homes currently built, or planned at Lake DeSmet.
Waller said he expects a lot more homes to be built at Lake DeSmet in the coming years.
Although the subdivisions have taken awhile to be built at the lake, he said 25 years ago there were no lights around the lake except for the Lake Stop, so it doesn’t take long.
