The Downtown Sheridan Association is hosting the “Gnome Around Downtown” scavenger hunt now through Saturday, Feb. 14.
Downtown Sheridan Association Executive Director Zoila Perry and Promotions and Marketing Committee Chair Mikkayla Heath appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and said some shoppers have already found the gnomes and turned in their cards.

The contest is just beginning, and participants can pick up gnome cards at participating downtown businesses. Each time a shopper discovers a hidden gnome in a shop, their card will be marked. Once a card is complete, participants can return it to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes, including gift cards to downtown businesses.
Completed gnome cards may be dropped off Friday, Feb. 13, at Kid Curious by 4 p.m., The Clothing Company & Baby Too by 6 p.m., or the Downtown Sheridan Association office by 5 p.m. For added convenience, cards may also be turned in by noon Monday, Feb. 16, at the Downtown Sheridan Association office. Winners will be selected and contacted Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Perry said the program is designed to bring patrons downtown to local businesses during the first weeks of February.
