The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is inviting interested members of the public to the Sheridan Regional annual season setting open house meeting between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday March 26 at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Sheridan Regional Office in Sheridan.

Season setting meetings are held each spring to present proposed license allocations, season length changes and other proposals for upcoming hunting seasons to hunters and the general public.

Chapter 2: General Hunting Regulations.

Chapter 5: Antelope Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 6: Deer Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 7: Elk Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 8: Moose Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 9: Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 11: Upland Game Bird and Small Game Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 14: Migratory Game Bird Hunting Seasons and Light Goose Conservation Order.

Chapter 15: Wild Bison Recreational Hunting Seasons.

Chapter 20: Wild Turkey Hunting Seasons.

Printed copies of this year’s proposals will be available at the meeting. 

Hunters, landowners and others may drop in at any time during the listed hours. Local wildlife biologists and game wardens will be available to provide information about local herd units, answer questions and listen to feedback on the proposals. 

Game and Fish report updated draft regulations with revised proposals will be available on the department website by March 18. Youtube videos with herd unit-specific information and proposals will be posted by March 22 at youtube.com/@wygameandfish

In addition to providing written comments at the meeting, the public is welcome to provide online comments at wgfd.wyo.gov/get-involved/public-input
