Sheridan Commission to Consider Application for Assistance for Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Truck, Tools, Equipment

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, at their regular meeting Tuesday, will consider an application for Federal Assistance to acquire new Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) truck, ARFF tools, and radio equipment.

Also on their agenda is consideration of bids for auditing services for FY 2026-2028; bids for brokerage services to sell the building at 1981 Double Eagle Drive; a presentation on a Community Needs Assessment from the Extension Office; consideration of a funding allocation letter from the Wyoming Department of Health to prevent and treat problematic gambling behavior; an airport lease agreement amendment with Sky West Airlines; and consideration of an application for Federal assistance to acquire new snow removal equipment.

They also have an executive session scheduled after the meeting.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
